Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, kendisine hediye edilen veya kendisinin temin ettiği eserlerin sergileneceği alana ilişkin, "Eski Kuzey Deniz Saha Komutanlığını bizler ele aldık. Oranın tamamen restorasyonunu bitiriyoruz. Orası da adeta harabeydi ve o harabe eseri, şimdi muhteşem bir eser olarak ele aldık. Orayı düzenledik ve bitirmek üzereyiz. Orada bütün bu eserleri, fakire ne hediye ettiyseler; ister hat, ister kitaplar, ister diğer türlü eserler olsun, bunların hepsini orada sergileyeceğiz. Ve orayı da halka açarak herkesin istifade etmesini sağlayacağız" dedi.
